The 2014 Pinot Noir (clone 828) was harvested on September 22nd and aged for 15 months in 50% new French oak and 50% neutral French oak (Meyrieux and Cadus). Our vineyard is nestled in the heart of the Sonoma Coast and sits atop Kings Ridge Road, overlooking the Pacific Ocean at an 1,800 foot elevation. The coastal fog keeps our vineyard cool in the mornings, but the ridge exposure allows for ample ripening. Sweet cherry, plum and strawberry flavors are accentuated with hints of cream and vanilla bean, giving our Burgundian-style Pinot Noir delicate yet complex flavors on the palate. 200 cases produced.
