
2007 37.2 Cuvee
The 2007 Cuvee 37.2, produced in the Pomerol style, is 91% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc. The pronounced mocha, plum and violet aromas emerge quickly and then settle into a well integrated structure of soft tannins and silky fruit textures. The Cuvee spend 16 months in a combination of French oak barrels.
Production levels for our 2007 vintage remained unchanged at 300 cases. We encourage you to secure your allocation as soon as possible. Any unclaimed allocations will be released to our waitlist customers on July 31, 2009. We will ship the 2007 wines in September/October, weather permitting.
Wine Spectator’s annual Merlot report endowed Coup De Foudre 2006 Cuvee 37.2 with its highest score: "Rich and well-structured, with mocha, black cherry and toast aromas and a plush texture that’s wrapped around a tightly wound core of currant, black olive and loam." 92 pts.
