 
2008 Cabernet Sauvignon The 2008 CDF Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested October 16, is a blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Petit Verdot and 6% Merlot. It is spectacularly rich and intense in flavor! This wine reveals a profound bouquet of blueberry pie, black cherry and vanilla bean with subtle spice notes of clove and cinnamon. On the palate it is complex and powerful yet graceful with silky tannins and hints of ripe blackberry leading to a long finish. Aged for 22 months in new French Oak, it is delicious today and will age elegantly for decades. 400 cases produced.
