2018 Lightning Bolt | 97 PointsJan 2021An opulent, full-throttle wine, the 2018 Lightning Bolt dazzles from start to finish. Quite simply, it is the most striking wine I have ever tasted from Coup de Foudre. It is a rich, sumptuous Cabernet loaded with fruit. Inky dark red fruit, mocha, spice, new leather, licorice and chocolate with tremendous richness and volume. Soft curves and silky tannins add to its immeasurable appeal. — Antonio Galloni

2015 Le Gauchiste | 97 PointsDec 2018The 2015 Le Gauchiste is a stunning wine. Soaring, intense and beautifully, layered in the glass, the 2015 is a drop-dead gorgeous beauty. Dark cherry jam, cocoa and plum fruit are lifted by Cabernet Franc aromatics. The 2015 is spectacularly ripe and unctuous, but also absolutely impeccable in its balance. It is one of the most impressive wines I have ever tasted from Coup de Foudre. Wow! — Antonio Galloni
2018 Cabernet Sauvignon | 94 PointsJan 2020The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful wine that captures all of the brooding intensity that is the signature of Kenefick Ranch, where this fruit is sourced. Black cherry, plum, grilled herbs, licorice, menthol, gravel and scorched earth infuse the 2018 with tremendous character. I would give the 2018 at least a few years in bottle to soften. There is plenty to look forward to.. — Antonio Galloni
